Recipe for Bombay Sagoo (Mixed Vegetables)
Ingredents: Use any two of the following vegetables200 gm carrot200 gm capsicum 200 gm cauliflower200 gm green peas200 gm tomatoes200 gm onions200 gm potatoes200 gm cabbage4-5 green chillies2 thin slices of ginger? tsp turmeric powdersalt-to your taste2-3 tbsp gram flour? tsp mustard seedslime / lemon juice - to your tastecoriander leaves to garnish
Method:
Finely chop your choice of vegetables, green chilies and ginger. Keep aside. Fry mustard seeds, add the vegetables, salt, turmeric powder and saut?Pour in a little water (depending on your choice of vegetables) and let it boil on low heat. Mix gram flour with a little water to make a thin paste. Add this to the cooked vegetables and boil till it becomes thick (porridge consistency). Add lime / lemon juice and chopped cilantro. Serve hot.
