Recipe for Vietnamese Lamb and Pineapple Soup (Vietnam ka Gosht aur Annanas Soup)

Ingredients: 350 gm lamb pasandas1 tbsp fish sauce1 tsp sugar3 tsp garlic paste2 tbsp chopped spring onionssalt and pepper6 tbsp diced pineapple slices3 tbsp oil3 sliced onions2 tsp extra sugar60 ml extra fish sauce2 tbsp chopped coriander1 litre stock4 tomatoes - skinned, deseeded and quartered

Combine meat, fish sauce, sugar, garlic, spring onions and seasoning in a bowl. Allow it to marinate for 2-3 hours. Heat half the oil. Brown the meat in batches. Remove from the pan. Heat remaining oil in the same pan. Slice 350 gm of lamb pasandas into thin shreds. Add onions and cook until soft.Add extra sugar, fish sauce, coriander, stock, tomatoes and pineapple to it. Mix it with 2 tbsp of sliced spring onions. Pour on 1 tablespoon of fish sauce and 1 tsp of sugar pan with the fried lamb. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve immediately with a salad.
