Recipe for Aloo Jeera (Potato and Cumin)
Ingredents: 200 gm potatoes50 ml oil10 gm cumin seeds20 gm ginger30 gm garlic10 gm turmeric20 gm red chilli powder100 gm tomatoes05 gm garam masla20 coriander powder10 gm coriander leavessalt to taste
Method:
Boil the potatoes and dice them. Chop the onions, garlic, ginger, coriander and the tomatoes.Heat oil and saut?he cumin seeds until they crackle. Add the garlic and ginger and saut?ntil golden.Stir in the chopped ginger and add the potatoes.Sprinkle turmeric and chilli powder and stir.Add the tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes.
